Welcome to Mamarama: Advice, information, and straight talk about parenting
Seven years ago I started my public access show Mamarama about being a parent and the issues we all deal with everyday. I am not an authority who dictates a particular style or philosophy, but a parent just like you, with my own strengths and weaknesses. My show has always addressed all sides of the parenting experience with an emphasis on pregnancy and childbirth. I studied first as a doula, then as a childbirth educator (please click classes for more information.) Currently, I teach childbirth education to pregnant teens in Jersey City high schools.
